Unapproachable East - Thesk

After it was decided by our host that Thesk would be shut down, the remaining DM team got together and discussed the future of the project. I'm proud to say that the project continues, but with a new look and feel.

We tossed around ideas for a couple days about where to go next. After much thought and complete agreement, we decided that continuing to have our module set in Thesk wasn't all that appealing. I'm excited to announce that the new setting for our project will be the Silver Marches of the Forgotten Realms.

We're taking all the very best from the Thesk module and adding it to all our new content in the Silver Marches module. We're very excited about the new module and setting, you can see why for yourself here:

We currently have an alpha module running from time to time to test various elements of the server.

Dear players,

I have decided to shut the Thesk server down. 

It was a good run, but some of us will be working on a different NWN2 project.

Thank you all for your time on Thesk.

This forum and the IRC channel will remain.

The server will likely be shut down at 7pm GMT today.

The future of this server is uncertain at the moment.

Some DMs are quiting the team, some are remaining, while others are branching off on a City of Waterdeep project.

If we are to continue the DM team will be restructured and several much needed changes will be made to the setting and the game mechanics.

As of now, we a currently looking into to new options for hosting the server. I may be able to do the job myself, we will determine if I can after some testing.

It is very likely that we will continue once we have sorted out all these issues. Until then we appreciate your patience.

I'm baaaack, and this means that you can expect my daily events and outrageous loots back. This means LOG IN, request a quest, give me a plot, ask for possessions, ask for items, and all that jazz.

Let's kick it back into gear.

Those apps that were in limbo for a while, have been voted on.. and I SINCERELY apologize for the delay.

A final note. With 1.23 coming, we can hopefully expect a player rush with that spiffy auto downloader, and with the player help. Any player that refers another to us, and they tell us will receive a custom tailored quest by yours truly, some spiffy loot item as a reward, imminent dea---... And a custom forum title. I'm drawing for straws here.
