Unapproachable East - Thesk

Telflamm is where east and west meet. Traders from across Faerûn sail across the Sea of Fallen Stars to meet caravans traveling across the Golden Way from the far off lands of Kara-Tur. The forests of the Great Dale to the north and Aglarond and Thay through mountain passes to the south, Telflamm sits at the heart of the Unapproachable East.

Perhaps this is why the mysterious thieves' guild known as the Shadowmasters has chosen the city as their base of operations. Telflamm also has a large community of Shou from Kara-Tur, and they even brought their yakuza, the Nine Golden Swords, with them. When the armies of the west defeated the Tuigan Horde as they pillaged their way across Thesk, the Zhentarim left their large orc army behind. After some time to adjust, the people of Thesk have learned to accept the orcs as part of their society. The Harpers stationed a few agents in Telflamm to keep an eye on the leftover Zhent army and on nearby Thay. Telflamm is home to one of the oldest Thayan Enclaves in all of Faerûn. All of this keeps the City Watch quite busy, but the disciples of the Hall of the Avenging Hammer are always around to help fight for justice.
